FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider, and do not accept any insurance directly. However, I am able to provide a superbill (a receipt of psychotherapy services) that you might be able to present to your insurer for partial reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider directly for details.

How long will therapy last?

The length of therapy depends on a lot of factors and varies for everyone, but because I work from a depth perspective, client relationships tend to be long-term. We can revisit therapeutic goals, progress, and timetables periodically during our work together: it is designed to be a collaborative and open process.

Are you seeing clients in person. and when?

I currently have a limited number of in-person appointments available at my Silverlake office on Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings, but I am available for remote sessions throughout the week. When we first connect, we can discuss scheduling that works for you.

How long are sessions and how often will we meet?

Sessions are 50 minutes, and occur at the same time each week.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask that you provide as much notice as possible when you must cancel an appointment. A full session fee will be charged if cancellation or rescheduling occurs less than 24 hours before our scheduled meeting time.
